Reproductive Biology: Top Dissertation

My final year in Reproductive Biology Honours has been so enjoyable. I have made some great friends and the experience of producing my dissertation and learning from the researchers has been a great opportunity.

Neuroscience: Top Science Student

I could not have achieved this prize it without the help of my project dissertation supervisor as well as all the lovely friends I made at Edinburgh. Even though I found this year very challenging, having the opportunity to be taught by leading researchers in neuroscience inspired me to continue my journey in academia.

BMedSci Bioethics, Law and Society: Top Project Mark and Top Student

I've really enjoyed my year studying Bioethics, Law and Society. Despite being online as a consequence of COVID-19, I found the course to be engaging and interesting, and am hugely thankful to the tutors for running such a fantastic programme.

Biomedical Sciences: Top Project Mark

Although this year was even more challenging due to the impact of the pandemic, I have gained valuable skills and knowledge as a final year student at the University of Edinburgh. The lecturers have tried their very best to provide high quality education to students and I have received continued guidance and support from my project supervisor, Dr Maria Valdes Hernandez.

Biomedical Sciences: Class Prize

I've had a wonderful time studying Biomedical Sciences - there is no doubt about how much I have grown as a person and the incredibly valuable skills I have gained. The highlight has been my Honours project, in which I gained research experience in my area of interest, Alzheimer's disease.

Medical Sciences: Class Prize

I have loved studying Medical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh! All of the BMTO staff and students have made the last few years an amazing and unforgettable experience.

Anatomy and Development: Top Medical Student

I thoroughly enjoyed intercalating in anatomy and development and I am certain that the skills I developed throughout the year will be incredibly useful in the clinical years of my medical degree. My project provided a very valuable insight into medical research and has made me more inclined to pursue research opportunities in the future.

Infectious Diseases: Top Intercalating Student

Intercalating in infectious diseases has provided an amazing opportunity to explore such an exciting area of science. The course inspires a genuine interest in the field, and is extremely well organised and delivered. The critical skills I have developed over the year will undoubtedly aid me throughout the rest of my degree and beyond. I would like to thank the teaching staff and my supervisor for all their support.
