Working with data is fun:  I teach data analysis at all levels within the Deanery of Biomedical Sciences.

I completed my PhD (2011) at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and my post-doc research at the University of Edinburgh (2012-2015).  My research addresses biological questions from an evolutionary perspective:  how does the environment affect the expression of deleterious mutations?  What kinds of mutations make females and males different, and why does this matter?
