Role at the BMTO

I contribute to all aspects of undergraduate teaching (design, delivery, assessment and feedback) in a variety of courses from year 1 through Honours years.

I am the course organiser of Biomedical Sciences 2 (BMS2), an undergraduate course for 2nd year students which aims to provide a solid foundational knowledge in the disciplines of biomedical sciences as well as key academic and practical skills required for scientific practice.

I'm interested in innovative learning and led the Massive Online Open Course ‘Critical thinking in global challenges’, one of the first 6 MOOCs offered by the University of Edinburgh. (https://www.coursera.org/course/criticalthinking).

I have also great interest in Assessment and Feedback and contribute to the ongoing review of the School’s feedback practices.

I'm a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK since 2011.
