Meet Razida Ezzaty, your Postgraduate Taught Student Representative for 2025-26.

Welcome message from Razida

Hello, I am Dr Razida Ezzaty, and it is with great excitement that I introduce myself as your Postgraduate Taught School Representative for Edinburgh Medical School.

What I hope to achieve in this role is to be part of your journey in fulfilling your potential. I believe that each of us wakes up with a purpose that shapes not only our choices, but also the kind of professionals and people we become. However, the path to reaching our ambitions is rarely straightforward. There are moments when motivation fades or when we lose sight of what once inspired us. In those times, community support can be a reminder of why we started.

Being here, in this programme and at this point in our lives, is already an opportunity worth embracing fully. My vision is for a postgraduate community where every student feels that there are no limits to what we can reach or become. This is our space to explore, contribute, and grow into changemakers who carry their impact beyond the university.
