Guidance for undergraduate students who would like to change a course or programme. Changing coursesIf you feel you've made a wrong choice of elective course, it is most important that you talk this over with your Student Adviser as soon as possible. You are not normally allowed to change courses after a course has been running for two weeks because of the difficulty of catching up with the material you will have missed in a new course; special permission for such a change has to be sought from the Director of Teaching in the BMTO by your Student Adviser. Changing programmeIf you decide you're more interested in another honours discipline then you can apply to transfer to that discipline as long as you meet the course requirements for the new discipline. The transfer process and deadlines can be found on our page about academic transfers.Applying to change programmeTiming your decisionTransfers from the Biomedical Sciences programme to the Medical Sciences programme can only occur at the end of first year.
