We are very pleased to be able to confirm that the dates, times and registration information for our 2023 Public Anatomy Workshops is now available.

Anatomy@Edinburgh are pleased to announce the planned return of the Anatomy Public Workshop Series, for anyone interested in learning more about the human body.

In celebration of World Anatomy Day, Saturday 15th October 2022, the Anatomical Museum is opening its doors to the public for the first time since March 2020.

Two new Anatomy Technician posts are now live to join the Anatomy@Edinburgh team.

Dr Jennifer Paxton has recently been awarded the title of New Fellow of the Year 2021 from the Anatomical Society.

A new study, describing the anatomy and histomorphology of the flexor digitorum profundus tendon insertion site, has been published by recent anatomy PhD graduate, Dr Jeremy Mortimer, supervised by Dr Jennifer Paxton.

Dr Jennifer Paxton has recently been awarded an Anatomical Society Research Studentship to investigate the use of tissue engineering as a method of repairing injured connective tissues in the ankle region.

Our national surgical anatomy programme for core surgical trainees in Scotland has just been published in the International Journal of Surgery.
