New paper describing the anatomy of the enthesis in the fingers has been published by the Paxton Lab

A new study, describing the anatomy and histomorphology of the flexor digitorum profundus tendon insertion site, has been published by recent anatomy PhD graduate, Dr Jeremy Mortimer, supervised by Dr Jennifer Paxton.

This study gives new insights into the gross and micro anatomical details of this region, to help inform both surgical practice and tissue-engineered replacement design.
