To celebrate World Anatomy Day, the ATLAS Facility and Art Wednesdays invites you to an interactive and fun workshop focusing on learning the anatomy of the brain, whilst painting your very own plaster cast brain hemisphere! If you are interested in learning about how the brain works in a relaxed environment and like to be creative, this workshop is for you! The workshop will be held in the historic Anatomical Museum with the ATLAS team, part of Anatomy@Edinburgh, learning about the brain, innovative teaching methods, and creating your own 3D brain masterpiece.The ATLAS (Anatomy Teaching Laboratory Additive manufacturing and Scanning) Facility is a new initiative in Biomedical Sciences focused on using innovating technologies for increasing the opportunities for teaching and research in anatomy and anatomy-related topics. You will have the opportunity to see the ATLAS facility, and see how the work produced by ATLAS is being used in teaching and research. Alongside enjoying a sneak peek inside ATLAS, you can enjoy viewing the collections of the Anatomical Museum out of public viewing hours.
