This fun and interactive workshop will focus on learning about the anatomy of your heart and how it works, whilst painting your very own 3D printed heart! If you are interested in learning more about how your heart works in a relaxed environment and like to be creative, this workshop is for you! Spend the afternoon in the historic Anatomical Museum with the ATLAS team, part of Anatomy@Edinburgh, learning about the heart, innovative teaching methods, including 3D printing, and creating your own 3D heart masterpiece.The ATLAS (Anatomy Teaching Laboratory Additive manufacturing and Scanning) Facility is a new initiative in Biomedical Sciences focused on using innovating technologies for increasing the opportunities for teaching and research in anatomy and anatomy-related topics. You will have the opportunity to see the ATLAS facility, and see the how work produced by ATLAS is being used in teaching and research.
