An important new work on applied anatomy for anaesthetic practice has been published by Cambridge University Press. Image Anatomy for the FRCA (Bowness J, Taylor A) features 80 original illustrations and schematics by Jeremy Mortimer and Ross Jones. The text is primarily aimed at senior anaesthetic trainees preparing for the Fellowship examination of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, but will be a valuable resource for anyone with an interest in applied anatomy. Original artwork from the text was exhibited at the 19th Congress of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA) in London, 9-11 August 2019.
