Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system, how the brain works and how cells interact to control behaviour. Image Research in neuroscience is aimed at better understanding the structure of the nervous system, how it works, develops, malfunctions, and how it can be manipulated. Research is aimed at developing more effective treatment of diseases such as stroke, neurodegenerative disease, mental illness, cancer, toxicity and trauma.
