Inflammation in Neurological Conditions Symposium The Centre for Discovery Brain Science and the Muir Maxwell Epilepsy Centre are delighted to host a mini-symposium in memory of Dr. Thomas TS Ingram on Dec 12, 2019 between 1-4 in the Hugh Robson Lecture Theatre. There will be drinks and nibbles afterwards. Dr Thomas TS Ingram was a Reader in Paediatric Neurology in Edinburgh and one of the founding members of the British Paediatric Neurology Association. He strongly believed in an inter-disciplinary approach to his work as a doctor and researcher. The mini-symposium will feature talks by discovery and clinician scientists and culminate in the memorial lecture. The theme of this year’s mini-symposium is “neuroinflammation” to highlight the increasing recognition and importance of inflammation in a wide array of neurological disorders, including epilepsy.
