Congratulations to Vinothini Prabhakaran, a PhD student from the Paxton Lab, won 2nd place for her oral presentation at the recent International Society meeting TERMIS-EU 2023. Image Vinothini's talk was on 'Comparative 3D bio-assembly of bone cell spheroids in suspension media and pillar array scaffolds' Her research focuses on creating a 3D in-vitro model of enthesis (bone-tendon interface) using scaffold-free tissue engineering strategies. Establishing a 3D in-vitro model to study the development and regeneration of enthesis can open up therapeutic options for tendon injuries/ruptures. Congratulations Vinothini!
