Anatomy@Edinburgh is delighted to note the continuing success of the Wade Programme in Surgical Anatomy (RCSEd) with recent overseas activities in Kerala, India. Ross Jones (University of Edinburgh; The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh) and Gordon Findlater (University of Edinburgh; The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh) delivered surgical anatomy teaching to core surgical trainees, along with a CME session for consultants and prospective trainers. These sessions outlined the level of surgical anatomy knowledge required throughout training, from undergraduate medical study and basic surgical training, through to specialty training and consultant practice. Anatomy@Edinburgh is proud of its longstanding collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) in the delivery of Wade Programme activity throughout the UK since 2012. The Wade educational approach also informed the design and delivery of the national Core Surgical Training (CST) Regional Anatomy Programme (Scotland), established by the University of Edinburgh and the Scotland Deanery (NHS Education for Scotland) in 2018.
