Anatomy@Edinburgh recently collaborated with NHS Lanarkshire to deliver an anatomy training day for physiotherapists working in NHS Scotland.

The remains of four tribal warriors of the Mudan community killed nearly 150 years ago have been formally repatriated by the University of Edinburgh.

On Tuesday 7th November, Anatomy@Edinburgh successfully launched the new series of anatomy-inspired research seminars.

The ATLAS Facility recently held two student events focussed on innovative anatomy education through 3D printing and arts-based learning.

After a Covid 19-induced absence of three years, the Anatomical Museum Open Days returned in 2023 with monthly openings in February, March, April and May.

Anatomy@Edinburgh was delighted to host a taster day for 80 sixteen-year-old students from Fairview International School recently, as part of their annual tour of UK universities.

On Saturday 22nd April 2023, Dr Jennifer Paxton and Ms Victoria McCulloch, successfully ran the first of a series of brand new public workshops; Building Body Parts!

Each year students have the opportunity to thank staff for their hard work and celebrate the very best of teaching and support at the University of Edinburgh.

Last week we launched the first of several studies that are aiming to use our new collection of 3D printed bones from the ATLAS Facility to teach anatomy in primary schools.
