PhD studentship in artificial tendon replacements available

Funding has been secured from Medical Research Scotland for a fully-funded 4-year PhD studentship available to start in October 2020.

This project will be hosted in the Paxton Lab at the University of Edinburgh and will involve working together with our industrial partners, Jellagen Ltd.

‘Old Problem, New Trix’ aims to investigate the use of Jellagen’s JellaTrix collagen sponges made from Jellyfish collagen as artificial bone materials in an in vitro model of bone-tendon replacements.
