An exciting and moving exhibition, Anatomy of Fleeting Moments, set within the historic Anatomical Museum is now open at the University of Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival. Artists Hans K Clausen and Kjersti Sletteland have spent the last year working on the project ‘Hospital Impressions’ with NHS Lothian hospitals from which the exhibition Anatomy of Fleeting Moments was born. The exhibition comprises a series of hand-squeezed porcelain ‘impressions’ along with the thoughts and feelings from over 700 patients, medical professionals and visitors to the hospitals. The artwork is complimented by the written work of Scottish writer Jenni Fagan. Opening times: 16th - 25th August 2018 Monday to Friday 12pm - 3pm and Saturday 25th August 10am - 4pm.
