It is with great sadness that I have to report that Professor Alastair Aitken, a valued colleague and friend to many in SBMS, died on Thursday 6th February, having been ill since November. Image Alastair joined the University in 1999, and was a member of SBMS until 2002, when he moved to the School of Biology. The funeral will take place at 1pm on Thursday 13th at Mortonhall.
