3D anatomical hologram. This 3D Hologram of the human body is believed to be the largest anatomical hologram ever made and the first anatomy teaching tool of its kind in the world It has three layers which have been digitally reconstructed from CT scans (computerised tomography), which are a special type of X-ray. When viewed at different angles it shows the muscles, skeleton and internal organs and the blood vessels and nerves. The Hologram, which was produced in collaboration with Holoxica and Zebra Imaging, received a Commended award at the Excellence in Holography Awards 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey on 4th December 2014.
