Hamish Mellanby volunteered with Mission Rabies in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Hamish Mellanby is a third-year biomedical sciences student with a strong interest in public health and epidemiology. In October 2025, Hamish spent a week in Cambodia with Mission Rabies, working with epidemiologists and public health professionals to try to reach 70% of the dog population in Phnom Penh to achieve herd immunity against rabies, using a one-health approach.
