David Scanlon - Student Adviser

Hi everyone! My name is David, I’m Irish, and I first moved here to Edinburgh back in 2019 to study Counselling. I’ve been working in Student Support since October 2021, and in that time I’ve really enjoyed working with all the students here to help them out. I’m currently balancing studying here in the University to qualify as a Counsellor with my work as a Student Advisor, so I may have some unique insights into the current student experience. I’m happy to help with pointing you towards the different support services in the University, going through applications and other processes, or even just having a chat about how you’re doing and any difficulties you might be facing.
