A team of former MSc Anatomy students Raghad Abdulaziz Almansour, Sumar Chan, Jun Mun Teoh, Rasyidah Rehir, Abeer Saleh Alshaya, under the supervision of Abduelmenem Alashkham, have published a study in Frontiers in Surgery documenting a rare coeliac trunk origin of bilateral inferior phrenic arteries. Their cadaveric research in the Anatomy Department at the University of Edinburgh found that one-third of specimens exhibited this variation.
